People from the ages over 65+
This is a very useful tool for a bottom-up approach in urban planning and mapping the needs and desires of the people who live and move through a city. Keep in mind that they should always correspond to the interests of each group of people (ex. different criteria for the people 65+ and different for the young women or the students, etc). These criteria are influenced by the project “Femmes et Ville”, at Montreal, 1988 (Paquin, 2002). URBANA has adapted this tool to the Greek context, based on the participatory tools and methods it has developed and used as an organisation. This tool can also be adapted to many contexts, depending on the challenges and the profile of the participants.
